How to use

Bath and shower time is the perfect way for your little to get ready for the day or wind down after a day of activities. Our hair & body wash is here to gently cleanse your little one’s skin.

Massage a cherry-size amount into wet hair, focusing on the hairline and scalp. Massage the same sized amount all over the body as it foams, then rinse off hair & body with warm water. Repeat process if hair is long, thick, or prone to tangles.

What type of shampoo and body wash should I use for my child?

When it comes to choosing shampoo and body wash for your child, it is important to use a product which gently cleanses to ensure that delicate skin and hair is effectively cleansed without stripping it. Childs Farm have used a blend of mild natural origin surfactants in combination with moisturising ingredients to ensure the product is caring on both hair and scalp.

Can I use this product if my child has sensitive skin?

Our products have been specifically formulated to be gentle on all skin types, including sensitive skin, and also safe for people who may be prone to eczema.
Every single person's skin is slightly different and because of that we would always recommend that you complete a patch test on your little one's skin before using a new product for the first time.

We would recommend applying a small amount of the product either behind the ear or on the inside of the upper arm and leaving this for 24 hours before first use to make sure there are no issues. Do not patch test on skin that is already irritated. If after 24 hours there is no irritation to the skin, you can begin using the products.

Can I use Childs Farm hair & body wash on my baby?

In line with NHS guidance, we recommend using plain water to bath your baby for the first month of their life. After this and once you feel ready, our body wash is suitable from newborn and upwards and is gentle on delicate skin. We also have a baby range available if you prefer a fragrance-free option.
