Dry, dehydrated skin in winter? No thanks! We’ve got the top winter skin care tips to help you keep yours and your little one’s skin feeling moisturised and cared for as the temperature drops.
Stay mild!
At this time of year, it can be tempting to turn your hot water and heating up as high as it can go, but going too hot can dry out your skin! Instead, opt for lukewarm water for you and the little ones, and keep your central heating on a mild heat to avoid drying out your skin – don’t forget to apply lots of moisturiser throughout the day!
Don’t neglect the hands
It’s easy to neglect your hands as it gets colder, but opting for a moisturising hand wash and moisturiser can make all the difference at this time of year.
Be gentle
Choose a gentle body wash and moisturiser for winter: our hair and body washes contain naturally derived glycerin, moisturising the scalp and skin, leaving skin and hair feeling hydrated whilst also being kind to even the most sensitive of skin.
Remember the hair!
Our scalps can really suffer as the temperature drops, so choosing a shampoo and conditioner that’s suitable for sensitive scalps can really help – ours use gentle, naturally derived surfactants that clean hair without stripping it of its natural moisture!
Lock-in moisture
Once you’ve bathed the little ones (or yourself!), make sure to pat skin dry, and apply moisturiser when it’s still a little damp to lock-in moisture! Not sure which is the best winter cream for dry skin?
